Hey FCA! October Highlights!

• This month at Aliso Niguel HS, we had our first huddle of the year and had 110 kids in attendance and gave out 26 Bibles!! Praise God!! Last school year, we had 60 kids show up to our first huddle of the year at Aliso Niguel HS! Praise God for how much He has grown the ministry already this year on this campus!
• This month at Laguna Beach HS, we had our first huddle of the year and had 55 kids in attendance and gave out 12 Bibles! Praise God!! Last school year, we had 35 kids show up to our first of the year at Laguna Beach HS! Praise God for how much He has grown the ministry already this year on this campus too!
• This month WE HAD OUR BIGGEST HUDDLE since being on staff at Capistrano Valley HS! We had 90 kids in attendance and gave out 14 Bibles!! Praise God!!

Here's what Andrew had to say about how FCA has changed his life!

• As an athlete, how has FCA impacted your life on all levels?

"As an athlete, FCA has impacted my life because it has allowed me to connect with other coaches and athletes. It has been very easy to relate to their identity in Christ as well as being an athlete instead of finding identity in a sport."

• Being involved with FCA, how has FCA impacted your time in high school?

"Being involved with FCA has impacted my time in high school greatly. I feel like as a leader of FCA, I feel like bringing kids to a huddle is the best way to introduce them to Christ. I have brought so many kids who have ended up coming back again and again, and them ending up getting plugged into a local church, which is so rad to see."

New FCA Orange County Director!

Back in August, it was with much excitement that we got to announce our new director of FCA Orange County Ali Malaekeh! Ali has been on staff for a number of years now and does FCA College Campus ministry at University California Irvine (UCI) and Cal State University Fullerton (CSUF). Our previous director, Will Gerhard, has moved up in the ranks of FCA and now directs FCA in all of Southern California! Please be praying for Ali and that FCA Orange County would be blessed by his leadership, service, positive attitude, big heart, and great love for the Lord!

Prayer Requests:

• For Andrew, as he continues his senior year at San Clemente HS.
• For Ali, as he leads/directs Orange County FCA.
• That the Lord would continue grow the ministry and work in impactful ways.
• That the Lord would provide new financial support to the ministry.

Praises For:

• Veteran student leadership across these campuses.
• New volunteers in the ministry.
• For the ways the Lord has already worked so greatly on these HS campuses.
• New people who have decided to financially support the ministry.
