Hello YMCA of the Foothills Family – and Happy February 1st!

February 1st, 2022 is also the Korean New Year, or “Seollal” (설날). Seollal is a festival and one of the most celebrated national holidays, where millions of Koreans return to their hometowns to celebrate traditions reaching back to the seventh century.  Let me be the first to wish you and your family a Healthy & Happy Korean New Year!

2022 is off to a fast and exciting start for our Y. We have spent the last few months building a brand-new website from scratch. We hope you find it to be engaging, educational and most importantly, user friendly. If you haven’t checked out our new website, you can do that here.
Along with the new website, we had the grand opening of our Members Pilates Studio at CCY, complete with six Allegro 2 Reformers from our partners at Balanced Body. These classes have received rave reviews and we are looking to add more time slots in the coming weeks. 
We are so thankful for your continuing support of our Y and Mission. You truly inspire us every day to provide access to Youth Development, Healthy Living and Social Responsibility.

It's Time to Register for Session 2 Programs!

It's that time again — time to sign up for our awesome programs! Check out all your options to help your child build confidence and learn new skills.

Youth Programs are available at the Crescenta-Cañada Family YMCA and the Verdugo Hills Family YMCA.
Purple Birds - NOW ENROLLING!

Our Learning Tree Preschool is excited to announce that we've opened enrollment for our Purple Birds Classroom for children ages 1.5 to 2 years old.

Our facility is fully licensed and our teachers boast decades of experience. See why so many families choose the Learning Tree Preschool every year!
Y-L.I.V.E. with Cameron Rose

LIVE on Instagram, the YMCA of the Foothills is excited to unveil Y-L.I.V.E. Y-L.I.V.E. stands for "Life In Virtue, Everlasting," and is a program dedicated to helping youth develop their sense of self and faith.

Every third Thursday of the month, Cameron Rose will present a special Devotion and Prayer designed to get young people thinking.

Family Swim at CCY

Family swim is available at our Crescenta Cañada Family YMCA from 2pm-5pm on Saturdays. There are 5 reservation spots available. All adults may reserve a spot for themselves and accompany one child. Each reservation is for a 50 min swim session. If there are any additional children, a reservation will need to be made. 
 
Minors under the age of 15 must be accompanied by an adult 18 and over. Masks are required when entering and exiting the pool. Reservations are required through our app.

Special 1-Day Camp - Feb. 14

This special camp is a great way to get kids in grades K — 8th up and active when they're not in school!

Masks continue to be required at all three YMCA of the Foothills locations. Additionally, Proof of Vaccination is required at the Verdugo Hills Family YMCA.

Take time out for yourself while your children play with their friends in our fun and safe environment. Our CPR and first aid certified Building Block staff will care for your children and host fun games and activities including crafts and a movie.
