REV. ROB’S SUMMER SABBATH: Starting this summer, Rev. Rob will be taking a 4-week Summer Sabbath (July 19-August 16) for the purpose of spending more intentional time with his family that the week-to-week constancy of ministry doesn’t regularly afford. This intentional time differs from a vacation, as two of these weeks Rob is taking as unpaid leave. During this Summer Sabbath, Rev. Enid Watson will be supporting our Deacons in providing any needed pastoral care/coverage, and we will be blessed with an exciting array of worship services with creativity and guest preachers (all who happen to be alums of our beloved Boston University School of Theology). Please be in touch with Rob if you have any questions. rob.mark@cotcbos.org

END OF LIFE DEACONS PLANNING GUIDE: In life and in death, we belong to God. This we confess, this we know. But too easily, we fail to prioritize end of life planning. So, to ease in this process, our Deacons continually update this attached form, and offer it to all as a reminder to take a few minutes here and there, and focus in on end of life planning. And as always, your deacons and pastor are always available to help in this process – please reach out!

SUPPORT PERSONS WITH DEVELOPMENTAL DISABILITIES: Join MA Fetal Alcohol Spectrum Disorder team for a Legislative Breakfast at the Massachusetts State House Wednesday, July 10. This gathering is in support of Bill S61 and H155 in support of those with developmental disabilities. This bill will amend the definition of developmental disability to include all individual with a developmental disability. To learn more about this bill and the MASSFAS legislative initiative, visit www.massfas.org or contact Rev. Enid Watson at enidwatson@healthrecovery.org
