ICED DRINKS FELLOWSHIP: Throughout the summer, we will have iced drinks and fellowship in the back Berkeley Street vestibule following worship. Please note we will not be brewing coffee for the summer in exchange for these cooler drink options.

PLAN AHEAD: GBIO AUGUST 18 - All are invited to meet in Bates Hall for a 1 hour House Meeting after worship. We will talk together about hurdles to healthcare access, the GBIO focus for this year. We will each tell our stories and learn more about the current legislative push.

COVENANT BOOK DISCUSSION AUGUST 18 AT FAITH AND LUCY'S: The next Covenant book conversation will take place on Sunday, August 18, at 5 pm at Faith and Lucy's. We begin with a potluck. We are continuing to discuss Karen Armstrong's The Case for God. On August 18 we will focus specifically on chap. 2, "God"; chap. 4, "Faith"; and chap. 5, "Silence." As always, everyone is welcome whether or not you have read the book and whether or not you have ever attended before. For more information contact

ALL CHURCH RETREAT: Friday Oct. 18-Saturday Oct. 19, 2019, Miramar Retreat Center. Please save the date now. Registrations will be rolled out in August.

REV. ROB’S SUMMER SABBATH: Starting this summer, Rev. Rob will be taking a 4-week Summer Sabbath (July 19-August 16) for the purpose of spending more intentional time with his family that the week-to-week constancy of ministry doesn’t regularly afford. This intentional time differs from a vacation, as two of these weeks Rob is taking as unpaid leave. During this Summer Sabbath, Rev. Enid Watson ( , Cell: 617.680.5734) will be supporting our Deacons in providing any needed pastoral care/coverage, and we will be blessed with an exciting array of worship services with creativity and guest preachers (all who happen to be alums of our beloved Boston University School of Theology). Please be in touch with Rob if you have any questions.

Sunday, September 29, 2019, during morning worship. If you are interested in joining Church of the Covenant, you have two upcoming options to join. Please get in touch with Rev. Rob if you are interested,
