I am delighted to be the first ever guest editor of the #PTFweekly . Lesbians are often less visible than gay men and their contribution is often under reported. That's why we have launched this week's inaugural Lesbian Visibility Week (LVW) to celebrate the many incredible diverse women in our community. We still have such a long way to go before we achieve real equality.

LVW is an opportunity to raise the profile of all lesbians, including those who are disabled, older, black, trans, Asian and minority ethnic. We will celebrate who we are & who we love - lesbian, bisexual, trans, queer, intersex and non-binary.

We hope you enjoy what we have in store this Lesbian Visibility Week, and that it becomes an integral part of the LGBT+ calendar.
