Six Tips to Properly Maintaining Your Dust Collector

How to optimize underperforming dust collectors

An underperforming dust collector is often the result of very high dust loading, ineffective cleaning, or a combination of the two. Left unchecked, these problems can result in unplanned downtime and increased operating costs.

What you can do...

So, while this is not necessarily an exhaustive rollout of potential issues, listed below you will find a handy checklist of measures you and your staff can take to avoid costly shutdowns and frequent filter changes.

Backflow Prevention is the installation of a Backflow Preventer, which is a device designed to keep the water inside the fire-protection system on a property and preventing it from backflowing into the municipal system. Thus the water can only flow in one direction — into the building’s fire-protection system.

This is a live event

This webinar highlights how advanced technology is opening new doors in the fight against fugitive combustible dust, and why prevention, not cleanup, must be the industry standard.
