Proper Testing of Explosion Isolation Valves

Understanding the importance of installation in accordance with certified parameters is crucial.

The VigiFlap Explosion Isolation Valve has been designed, tested & certified to prevent the propagation of overpressure or flame front caused by a potentially catastrophic explosive event.

This video demonstrates the necessity of proper certification testing and what those requirements are.

Intentionally certified for “Intended Use”, the VigiFlap valve has been proven to function flawlessly when tested for dust collection suction and pressure side ducting installations.
Fire Alarm Systems
We design, install & repair fire-alarm systems in commercial, residential & industrial facilities. We offer annual inspections & 24/7 Emergency Service.

GORE REMEDIA - Dioxin & Furan Control
Meeting the Dioxin Challenge
The threat of dioxins is drawing increasing attention around the world. Governments are phasing in tougher dioxin restrictions, and reports about dioxin levels in food products have generated widespread concern. Issues related to dioxin emissions and disposal are moving up the environmental agenda. With heightened public awareness, stricter regulations and potential penalties for non-compliance, it's more important than ever to avoid the risks associated with inadequate dioxin control.

Eliminating Dioxins
GORE REMEDIA Filter Bags help you efficiently meet dioxin emission requirements without the burden of costly new equipment. You can remove dioxins and furans simply by installing new filters in your baghouse. This innovative system is effective and cost-efficient, safer for the environment, safer for employees and simpler to use.

A Cost-effective Solution for Dioxin & Furan Abatement
Dioxin and Furan Control can now be accomplished using a Donaldson® Torit® baghouse equipped with GORE® REMEDIA® catalytic filter bags. Optimizing Dust Collector Filter Cleaning Technology
Increasing Filter Life & Cost Savings

Early Dust Collection

Early dust collection systems used passive filtration to separate dust from various airstreams. Filters inside a collector gradually loaded with dust, and, over time the pressure drop across the filter media increased until there was so much resistance the airflow through the system dropped below an acceptable level.

Key Improvements

Key improvements in dust collection occurred when active cleaning was developed to recondition filter media that stayed in the collector. Over the years, various methods of active cleaning were applied to dust collectors, including both mechanical and reverse air methods.
