Dear Parishioners,

As a tangible sign of the new life we celebrate on Easter, we will offer an in-person, indoor Easter Sunday worship service in our Sanctuary, limited to 100 people, on April 4 at 10:00 a.m. The service will also be live-streamed for all to enjoy. We have been carefully watching COVID vaccination and infection rates, and Bishop Sam Rodman has authorized a special provision for Easter worship only, given its primacy of place in our communal life and faith. We are not making further decisions about the reopening of the church at this time. We remain committed to loving God and our neighbor, acting in the best interests of our church and the wider community.
For those interested in attending, the Easter morning service sign-up will be open and available on our website https://standrewsgso.org ** Palm Sunday morning ** through Maundy Thursday or until we reach our limitation of 100 persons. If you do not have internet access, you may call the church for assistance making your Easter in-person reservation. During the service, everyone will be masked, including the singers and priest, and must observe social distancing. This development marks a change in our previously published Holy Week schedule. We will offer this indoor service in lieu of the outdoor 3:00 p.m. service that we had previously planned on Easter Sunday afternoon. Please be patient as we navigate this new and joyful development.

Gethsemane Watch
Sign up here for our Maundy Thursday prayer vigil.
The Garden of Gethsemane is where Jesus asked his disciples to pray with him the night before his crucifixion. This year, we will follow that command with a vigil on Maundy Thursday by keeping vigil in our homes. Our Gethsemane Watch will begin at 9:00 p.m. on Maundy Thursday (April 1) and end at noon on Good Friday (April 2).
All are invited to sign up for an hour of prayer. You can be silent, pray with the Psalms, or offer what is on your heart. Use the link below to sign up. Our goal is to have St. Andrew’s parishioners and friends praying throughout the night during our Gethsemane Watch, journeying alongside Jesus.

Our stations will be open Thursday through Saturday, weather permitting, 10 to 6.
We have created five outdoor prayer stations for this season of Lent around our church campus. There are four along the front and one in the Gabriel Garden in the back.

The EYC gathered outside this past Saturday, masked and socially distanced, to explore the prayer stations set up around the perimeter of the church. Taking time to be still, be present, and to be thankful. The youth also took part in a random act of kindness by signing and delivering cards and flowers to two neighborhood Asian-owned businesses. More EYC gatherings to come in April!
