WASH booth at the Rotary Zonal
4, 5, 6, and 7 Institute in India

The Rotary Zonal Institute of Zones 4, 5, 6, and 7 was held on 10th, 11th and 12th December 2021 at Mahabalipuram, India. A WASH-RAG booth was set up to create awareness of the WASH Rotary Action Group's activities and promote the upcoming World Water Summit 14, an international event to be held in Houston, USA on June 3, 2022. Rajiv set up the booth on the first night but the heavy rain and wind blew the stall away. Nothing daunted, he rebuilt it and continued to promote clean water, sanitation and hygiene for the rest of the week!

Many past and current RI officers visited the booth and several WASH-RAG Directors were on hand to encourage and advocate for WASH-RAG and WWS14. PDG Ramesh Agrawal, IPRID and Trustee Elect Dr. Bharat Pandya, PDG Ravi Vadlamani, Directors Venky, and Dr. Mahesh Kotbagi were amongst several prominent visitors. Many of Rajiv's batchmate PDGs and Rotarians are working on Global Grants under the
WASH Area of Focus. They were aware of the WASH Rotary Action Group and were appreciative of our combined efforts. Throughout the week Rajiv and many WASH-RAG members were available to discuss WASH-RAG.

At your next Zone, District or Club Meeting we invite you to give a short speech about WASH-RAG or join our Ambassador program. Email us for more information: info@washrag.org
Do you know a WASH Rotaractor?
Calling Rotaractors - we have an opening on the Operations Team of the WASH Rotary Action Group!

The WASH Rotary Action Group is pleased to consider partnerships with any corporate supporter. Due to the unique attributes of water sources and water provision, acceptance of corporate support does not imply an endorsement of any particular water technology. Rotarians, Rotary Clubs, and Rotary partners must evaluate any technology to determine if it is the best solution for the conditions where the program will be implemented. The WASH Rotary Action Group can provide guidance about where different technologies work best, but Rotarians and Rotary clubs must make the final decision about how to implement their programs. Email us about your ongoing or finished project at info@wasrag.org.
