President's Message

As a new school year begins, the excitement in our communities is contagious. This season is a reminder of how important it is to give every child the tools they need to learn, grow, and thrive—whether that is a backpack full of supplies, a healthy smile, or a clean bill of health from a wellness exam.

This summer, we celebrated an incredible milestone at our Back-to-School event at Hudson Academy, where more than 500 community members came together with over 40 local partners to support students and families. We also launched the very first Owlivia’s Book Nook in partnership with the Early Learning Coalition, located in our New Port Richey Pediatric Dental waiting room. This cozy space promotes the joy of reading for our youngest patients, ages 2 to 5, and reflects our commitment to supporting healthy development beyond the exam room.

As the school year swings into full gear, I encourage families to schedule sports physicals, wellness exams, and dental screenings. These visits are key to keeping children healthy and ready to succeed in the classroom and on the field.

This month, We also celebrated National Health Center Week—a time to honor the vital role community health centers play in providing accessible, high-quality care to everyone, regardless of background or circumstance. Together, we are building stronger, healthier communities.

Thank you for being part of our mission.

Backpacks, Smiles, and Support for a New School Year

Premier Community HealthCare kicked off the 3rd Annual Back to School Health & Wellness Event on July 12th at the Hudson Academy. More than 500 students and families joined us for a day filled with resources, fun activities, and community spirit.

More than 40 local partners came together to provide backpacks, bike helmets, school supplies, health information, and more to ensure students have the tools they need to start the year strong. Thank you to our staff, volunteers, and partners for making this event such a success.

New Book Nook Brings the Joy of Reading to Young Patients

Turning a page is often the first step to opening a child’s imagination. That’s why Premier, in partnership with the Early Learning Coalition, is celebrating the installation of their very first Owlivia’s Book Nook in our New Port Richey Pediatric Dental waiting room.

Designed for children ages 2 to 5, this cozy reading space invites our young patients to explore new stories and develop a love for books while they wait. By bringing literacy into our care spaces, we are helping nurture healthy minds alongside healthy smiles and inspiring a lifelong love of learning.

Celebrating Our Patients

During National Health Centers Week, we honored the people who give our mission meaning - Our Patients. Each patient received a care package bag with essentials, such hand sanitizer, sunscreen and more.

Thank you to all of our patients who entrust us with their health.

Thank you Sunshine Health!

Thanks to the Sunshine Health Chronic Conditions Community Grant, Premier is expanding diabetes care in Pasco and Hernando counties. This support funds screenings, education, nutrition and exercise programs, and care coordination—helping us improve lives and build a healthier future.

Thank you Gulfcoast North AHEC!

We’re grateful to Gulfcoast North AHEC for awarding $8,500 to support our Tiny Teeth Matter program. This funding helps us provide education and resources to promote healthy smiles for our youngest patients
