As a new school year begins, the excitement in our communities is contagious. This season is a reminder of how important it is to give every child the tools they need to learn, grow, and thrive—whether that is a backpack full of supplies, a healthy smile, or a clean bill of health from a wellness exam.
This summer, we celebrated an incredible milestone at our Back-to-School event at Hudson Academy, where more than 500 community members came together with over 40 local partners to support students and families. We also launched the very first Owlivia’s Book Nook in partnership with the Early Learning Coalition, located in our New Port Richey Pediatric Dental waiting room. This cozy space promotes the joy of reading for our youngest patients, ages 2 to 5, and reflects our commitment to supporting healthy development beyond the exam room.
As the school year swings into full gear, I encourage families to schedule sports physicals, wellness exams, and dental screenings. These visits are key to keeping children healthy and ready to succeed in the classroom and on the field.
This month, We also celebrated National Health Center Week—a time to honor the vital role community health centers play in providing accessible, high-quality care to everyone, regardless of background or circumstance. Together, we are building stronger, healthier communities.
Thank you for being part of our mission.
