iCue Monitor Service is for customers that already subscribe to the iCue Connected Service and want additional monitoring done by Donaldson product specialists.
With the iCue™ Monitor Service, Donaldson product specialists will monitor your iCue™ account. When an alarm occurs, Donaldson product specialists will review the alarm as well as historical and real-time data to troubleshoot the issue. Working in tandem with AST Canada, you will be contacted and given recommendations for corrective action, maintenance, service, or additional troubleshooting.

Standpipe System Inspection
What is a Standpipe System
A standpipe system is a series of pipes at a building, connecting the water supply to hose connections. A standpipe system is an extension of the fire-hydrant system for use by firefighters or trained occupants in the event of a fire in the building.
Standpipe System Testing
Standpipe system testing in Ontario came into effect on July 1, 2018 and all building owners needed to comply by January 1, 2019 according to Ontario Regulation 108/18.

Details
Industries handling biomass such as wood pellets must consider strategies to avoid the concentration and build-up of fine particles (smaller 40 microns) in their handling and storage equipment which could cause dust explosions. Dust explosions occur when five conditions, as named in the dust explosion pentagon, are fulfilled.

The number of dust particles in an enclosed volume is one condition which can become critical when the particle concentrations are high.

To be able to identify areas of high dust concentrations in handling and storage equipment, simulations (CFD) or experiments must be conducted. Simulations require the calibration and validation of models which are very time-consuming. In this seminar, we share our experience of setting up experiments for the purpose of calibrating and validating simulation models. We also discuss strategies and challenges faced by practitioners.

The Donaldson Torit® Cyclone dust collector is designed specifically for high dust load, high temperature, and product recovery applications.​ It has a mechanical separator that uses centrifugal force to remove dust particulates from the air in industrial applications. Dusty air enters the cyclone and the dust particles travel around the inner wall of the cyclone. As the particles lose their velocity, they drop lower in the cyclone until they drop into the receptacle below.
