CAMDEN UPGRADES INDUSTRY LEADING DELAYED

EGRESS MAGLOCK

Camden has upgraded our popular CX-DE1200 Series Delayed Egress Maglocks by packaging a 90dB sounder with each Maglock. The sounder is mounted on a stainless steel single-gang plate and designed to provide a clear signal when an exit alarm is activated.

The new remote sounder is in addition to our recent enhancement to the built-in Maglock speaker, which makes the voice annunciation of the Maglock count-down timer louder.

In addition, Camden has given installers more buying power by releasing new

CX-DE1200 maglock kits that include a remote reset key switch. These high-quality flush mount single gang mortise key switches feature a stainless steel faceplate with laser etched graphics.

CAMDEN INTRODUCES NEW LOW PROFILE ANSI FIRE RATED ELECTRIC STRIKE

Camden Door Controls has announced the release of its CX-ED420 series low-profile, fire-rated strike, designed for use with cylindrical locksets with 1/2" to 5/8" latch projection.

CX-ED1420 strikes are Grade 1 rated with 1,500 lbs static strength and factory tested for 1.5 million cycles. They are UL security listed to 1034, and 294 standards, and 90-minute fire-rated to UL10C and CAN4-S104 standards. Camden CX-ED1420 series low-profile fire rated strikes are now in stock and available for order. 

NEW MAGLOCK SPACER BARS FOR SHALLOW DOOR FRAMES!

Camden has made their industry-leading

CX-91 Series single door and CX-92 Series double door magnetic locks even better with the addition of new 1” spacer plates. With solid aluminum construction and pre-drilled mounting holes, they are designed to provide an additional mounting surface when the maglock cannot be directly mounted onto a door frame. 

This updated specification sheet (above) also includes the addition of new Emergency Exit Signage, designed for use with magnetic locks, and available in white or clear options. 

NEW KEY SWITCH GRAPHIC OPTIONS FOR CONTROL OF MAGLOCKS AND DOOR OPERATORS

Camden has added four new key switch graphic options across our full line of flush and surface-mount, aluminum, and stainless steel mortise key switch models. These new ‘CG’ graphic options are now available on the CM-1000 / 1100 / 2000 Series, CM-1200 / 2200 Series, and CM-3200 / 3500 Series key switches.

David Ito

Camden is pleased to announce the promotion of David Ito to Technical Services Manager. In his new role, Ito has assumed management of Camden’s Technical Support Department and will drive improvements to Camden’s Training and Applications Engineering (Inside Technical Sales) capabilities.

During his five-year tenure at Camden, Ito’s deep knowledge of the access control market provided a foundation for product development and management, which fueled the launch of numerous new products, including the Mpox BLE™ 2-door access control system, smartphone credentials, and new keypads with built-in proximity readers.
