Washington County launches online building permitting portal

A new online permitting portal is now available for building projects in unincorporated Washington County.

The Building Services, Department of Land Use and Transportation, new Building and Development Application Services (BDAS) system will allow applicants to manage projects from start to finish. BDAS works with the department’s ProjectDox webtool to streamline submittal, review and approval of building applications and plans.

“This marks the first phase of our online permit submission software rollout,” said Derrick Moon, Washington County Building Official. “Our goal is to increase online access by continuing to take advantage of the BDAS technology.”
