Weather response effort update

Land Use & Transportation road crews are continuing to address roads and streets with fallen trees, making sure at least one travel lane is clear. As weather conditions improve, crews will return to clear any remaining travel lanes.

Crews cannot clear fallen trees involving power lines until PGE crews have made repairs and/or cleared the power lines.

To report fallen trees impacting one or more travel lanes: 

• Online: Complete a Request a Road Service form. 
• By phone 8 a.m.-5 p.m. Monday-Friday: Call 503-846-7623 (Road Maintenance) 
• By phone after 5 p.m. and on weekends/holidays: Call 503-629-0111 (Washington County nonemergency) 
• Email: lutops@washingtoncountyor.gov. 

NOTE: Report fallen trees only once. Do not report locations we’ve already worked on. We will return to finish clearing the travel lanes, sidewalks and bike lanes as soon as possible. 

Comment on the Washington County Vision for Transit

The Vision for Transit online open house and survey is open for public comment until March 1.

The Vision for Transit includes draft recommendations on how we can support and improve transit in Washington County over the next 20 years. We’re asking for feedback on how well these recommendations will improve safety, accessibility, convenience and overall experiences to encourage transit ridership.

Vision for Transit is the result of a year-long transit study. Our goals include:

• Equity - Improving access to opportunities with more equitable and affordable options for transit
• Economic Vitality - Connecting people and places to transit
• Environmental Health - Reducing greenhouse gas emissions and improving environmental health
• Customer Experience - Making transit easier and more convenient
• Partnerships - Supporting a transit system that will be successful long-term

Visit the open house and survey, learn more about the Vision for Transit and share your feedback by 5 p.m. March 1.
