Updated summer paving schedules available online

Paving activities are underway across Washington County. The schedule for slurry seal treatments has just been released.


Schedules may change based on weather, contractor operations or available materials. Those who live on or near roads to be paved have been notified. 


A full list of roads scheduled for paving is available online. You can also sign up to receive updates.

Get an up-close look LUT's Washington County’s big rigs during Tualatin Hills Park & Recreation District Annual Big Truck Day, 10 a.m.-2 p.m. Saturday (Aug. 6) at Conestoga Recreation & Aquatic Center


Visitors will have a chance to check out the transfer dump truck and trailer, grader and the striper. Land Use & Transportation Ambassadors be available to answer questions, provide comment opportunities and more.

Comment Opportunities

Help select street projects to improve travel throughout Washington County. Visit the Major Streets Transportation Improvement Program (MSTIP) online open house to learn which projects are proposed for the 2023-2028 funding cycle.


The cost of the proposed projects is much higher than the $160 million available. Help the Washington County Board of Commissioners trim the project list to make the best use of your MSTIP dollars. Select up to three projects in each of the four Commissioner Districts. Tell Washington County which projects you think will most benefit our community! Visit the online open house through through Aug. 12.

Visit the Transit Development Plan online open house and take the survey to help identify improvements to public transportation in rural Washington County and other areas not well served by bus routes. Visit the open house through Aug. 31.

Help our local government better understand community need by completing the Natural Hazard Mitigation Awareness Survey.


Your local governments are working together to update our Natural Hazard Mitigation Plan to help better prepare for possible natural hazards. Complete the survey by Sept. 30.
