UPDATE: Building Services, Development Review/Current Planning, Community Planning, Transportation Planning and Survey will be closed for in-person services July 1-4, 2025. Online and phone services and in-person appointments will continue, and staff will be working in the office.

In addition, ProjectDox and Building and Development Application Services (BDAS) will be unavailable July 1 only due to software upgrades.

Plan ahead for holiday weekend travel

If you're traveling for the July 4th holiday, be ready for heavy traffic and remember to drive safely!

Before you leave, visit wc-roads.com for travel impacts and community events that involve road closures.

Try to avoid peak travel times and include extra time in your schedule. As always, slow down, stay alert and drive for conditions on the road.

There are more impaired driving crashes over the July 4th holiday. Never drive drunk, high or "buzzed." If you're at a gathering with alcohol or other drugs:

Arrange a designated driver or sober ride in advance.
Prepare to order a rideshare or call a cab if you need to travel while intoxicated.
Make arrangements to sleep over after a party if you can’t get a sober ride.
Ask for intoxicated party guests’ keys if it is safe to do so.

Paving is expected to begin in July. See the paving lists and partial schedule.

Southbound OR 217 will close from Canyon Road to OR 99W from 9 p.m. Friday to 5 a.m. Monday for ODOT paving.

Farmington Road and River Road intersection; lane closures, 8:30 a.m.-3 p.m. June 27 for construction repairs.
Tualatin-Sherwood Road from Teton Avenue to Langer Farms Parkway; multiple traffic signal shutdowns, 8 p.m.-5 a.m. June 29-July 2 for paving.
Tualatin-Sherwood Road/Avery Street intersection; traffic signal shutdown, 9 a.m.-3 p.m. June 30-July 18 for utility work.
Thompson Road from Saltzman Road to 135th Terrace; road closure, July 1-Aug. 14 for construction.

Neighborhood Meetings

NOTE: Neighborhood Meeting information is provided as a courtesy only. Developers must hold Neighborhood Meetings prior to submitting certain land use applications. These meetings serve as a forum for the developer, affected CPOs and property owners within 500 feet in urban areas or 1,000 feet in rural areas to discuss the proposal before an application is submitted to the County. County staff do not schedule these meetings nor attend them. Questions? See the contact information included within each Neighborhood Meeting listed below.
