CPACE Program Signs Largest Financing Project to Date

Washington County announced the signing of a $25.6 million project through the Commercial Property Assessed Clean Energy (CPACE) program with Cedarbrook Senior Living in Tigard.


The financing will help fund energy-efficient systems and sustainable building features, that will yield long-term operational savings and environmental benefits.


Annually, the features are projected to:

  • Save $335,407 in utility expenses
  • Eliminate 2.3 million pounds of emissions 
  •  Save more than a million gallons of water 
    

The CPACE program enables commercial and multifamily property owners to access long-term, low-cost financing for energy efficiency, renewable energy, water conservation, and seismic upgrades.

  • 185th Avenue between Alderwood Drive; lane closure Dec. 1 to 23, 2025.
  • Beef Bend Road from Roy Rogers Road and Elsner Road; road closure Dec. 8 to 29, 2025.
  • SW River Road from Davis Road/south of Oakhurst Street; road closure Oct. 27, 2025 to April 14, 2026.
