The recent storm caused some trees and branches to fall across roads, sidewalks and bike lanes throughout Washington County. Our crews have cleared fallen trees that impacted travel. Some debris from removal of fallen trees may be left on the roadside; crews will be returning to dispose of this.
Property owners are responsible for removal of debris on private property. They are also responsible for clearing sidewalks adjacent to their properties.
Debris from private properties should not be placed on sidewalks or into the road/street. Washington County does not have a roadside disposal service for yard debris. See Yard and Storm Debris Solutions for information on how to dispose of debris.
