Travel safely in winter weather

Winter weather is the forecast! Our road crews will be ready to plow and sand 24/7 through the length of the wintry conditions.

Take precautions if you must travel on slippery roads and sidewalks.

Pedestrians and Bicyclists

  • Make sure that your footwear has a good tread, or use crampons.
  • Wear bright clothing, reflectors and lights.
  • Use properly inflated snow tires on your bike.
  • Stay aware of vehicles that may have difficulty stopping at intersections.
  • Check TriMet service alerts for public transit delays or cancellations.

Hall Boulevard on-ramp to Highway 217 south closure

The closure is expected to last two months. Travelers will be detoured south on Scholls Ferry Road to the southbound on-ramp. Expect delays.
