Board Approves 2025-27 Planning Work Program

The 2025-27 Planning Work Program for Washington County Department of Land Use & Transportation was adopted by the Washington County Board of Commissioners at its July 15 meeting.


The Planning Work Program identifies tasks planning staff will work on over the next two years. The major initiatives in the Planning Work Program are organized into five themes and include ordinances, projects and other transportation and community planning activities. These major initiatives are in addition to ongoing work planners perform.

  • Farmington Road, from Murray Road to Kinnaman Road; lane closures and traffic signal shutdowns 8 p.m.-5:30 a.m. July 21-Aug. 3 for paving.
  • Hobbs Road, from Susbauer Road to Irvine Street; road closure July 22-26 for bridge repair.

Neighborhood Meetings

NOTE: Neighborhood Meeting information is provided as a courtesy only. Developers must hold Neighborhood Meetings prior to submitting certain land use applications. These meetings serve as a forum for the developer, affected CPOs and property owners within 500 feet in urban areas or 1,000 feet in rural areas to discuss the proposal before an application is submitted to the County.
