Halloween: Watch out for pedestrians

Halloween is Sunday, and it’s important to be extra vigilant to maintain pedestrian safety.

Drivers:

Watch for pedestrians and bicyclists

Slow down

Keep windshields clean

Do not drink and drive

Pedestrians:

Walk on sidewalks when possible

Carry a flashlight and wear reflective clothing

Face traffic while walking

Do not run out between parked cars

Cross at traffic signals, when available

Neighborhood meetings, required for many Washington County development applications, can be held online temporarily as per the new COVID-19 Virtual Neighborhood Meeting Supplement.
