Halloween: Watch out for pedestrians

Halloween is Sunday, and it’s important to be extra vigilant to maintain pedestrian safety.


Drivers:

  • Watch for pedestrians and bicyclists


  • Slow down


  • Keep windshields clean


  • Do not drink and drive


Pedestrians:

  • Walk on sidewalks when possible


  • Carry a flashlight and wear reflective clothing


  • Face traffic while walking


  • Do not run out between parked cars


  • Cross at traffic signals, when available
