MSTIP Online Open House: What's important to you?

Tell Washington County what types of transportation improvements are important. Visit the Major Streets Transportation Improvement Program (MSTIP) Online Open House through Feb. 11.

MSTIP is an innovative program to pay for road improvements. The program improves our transportation system for bicyclists, pedestrians, drivers and bus riders. The Department of Land Use & Transportation is beginning the selection process for the MSTIP '23-'28 Funding Cycle. The prior funding cycle provided $160 million for road projects throughout Washington County.

The online open house includes a survey to help planners learn what the public wants in a future transportation system. The survey includes questions in four categories:

  • Safety
  • Equity
  • Natural environment
  • Health economy

Survey responses will help transportation planners create a list of projects available for public comment on later this year. The survey takes less than 10 minutes to complete.
