Blanton Street Improvements Kick Off in March

Improvements to Blanton Street are about to begin, making it easier for people traveling between neighborhoods and community destinations.

Upgrades include:

  • Multiuse path for walking and biking
  • Buffered bike lane and wider sidewalk
  • Better lighting, drainage, and landscaping

Together with the 209th Avenue, Century Boulevard projects, and the upcoming Kinnaman Road project, these improvements are part of a broader program to create safer and better-connected streets to South Hillsboro’s growing community.

Construction is expected to start in early March and continue through the fall. Travelers should expect daytime lane closures throughout construction.
