Getting around SW Beaverton and Tigard’s River Terrace just got easier!

SPOT Southwest is a free, on-demand transit service that picks you up and drops you off anywhere within its service area.

Like a rideshare app, you can book free same-day rides through the SPOT Ride app or by phone

SPOT (Shared Public On-Demand Transit) is part of Washington County’s Microtransit Pilot Project, and is operating in partnership with Ride Connection.

Washington County Declares State of Emergency for OR Hwy 6 Landslide Damage

Washington County has declared a State of Emergency in response to severe damage to Oregon Highway 6 caused by a landslide during the December 18 winter storm.

The highway is currently restricted to one lane for approximately 11 miles within Washington County, creating significant challenges for residents, businesses, and emergency services.

Although OR 6 is an Oregon Department of Transportation (ODOT) facility, Washington County is stepping up to show support for ODOT’s repair efforts and advocate for long-term safety improvements.
