Hi, Mentor ! We wish you a happy and blessed holiday season and nothing but health and happiness in 2020! Thanks for all that you do for our Take Stock in Children scholars. You all are amazing!

We are missing a LOT of our scholars' Mentor Session Logs (a/k/a the "green sheet") that were due to their College Readiness Coaches by December 13 so we can manually enter any sessions missing from our database before our mid-year reporting is due to the state. If you haven't been entering your sessions online and are able to take a few minutes to do so using the link below, we'd greatly appreciate it. We will have only one work day (January 6) after the winter break to enter any missing sessions. Thanks so much for helping us keep our reporting to the state as accurate as possible!
Go ahead and log that mentor session now! ;)
Winter Break starts Monday, December 23 ! Students return to school on Tuesday, January 7, 2020. It's okay if you want to keep in touch via phone, text, or email during the break.

The Take Stock in Children office is located in the Pasco County School Headquarters and so our offices will be closed during winter break-- December 23 - January 3 . We will return to the office on Monday, January 6, 2020 .
Today is the last day for our Mentor Coordinator, Gina Granger. She will moving on to a teaching position (her dr eam job!) at Zephyrhills High School following the winter break.

We will be looking for a new Mentor Coordinator but, in the interim, please reach out to our Executive Director, Rosanne Heyser, if you have any questions or concerns. Rosanne can be reached at (813) 794-2134 or via email at rheyser@pascoeducationfoundation.org

Also, we'd like to welcome our new College Readiness Coach, Amy Gallaher, who started with us last week. You will be hearing from us in the new year about which schools and scholars that Amy will be serving.
Anclote High School
  • 9th grade boy*

Fivay High School
  • 9th grade girl*

*These two scholars are in need of a co-mentor in order to meet the number of mentor sessions required by the FL Department of Education.
We always need extra mentors on board, trained and ready to serve at all high schools in the county. We often have students transfer to our program from other counties and they will need new mentors.

If you know of someone who would love the opportunity to mentor one of our scholars, please have them contact us at (813) 794-2134 or by email: rheyser@pascoeducationfoundation.org
