Hi Mentors! Don't forget we have a Mentor 201 Training next week and we've only heard from a few of you. All mentors are invited and we also invited several TSIC alumni and their "former" mentors--although they still keep in touch--for a reunion. Mentors who attend the training will be learning from these TSIC Alumni who will serve as our panel of "experts" ready to answer your questions about all things college, financial aid, tips and tricks they've learned, etc. so you can share this knowledge with your mentee. The invitation is below and we've provided quick buttons to click to let us know if you'll be attending. RSVP by 4/8 , if you haven't already, so we may plan accordingly and provide a timely headcount to our caterer.
Will you attend the Mentor 201 Training?
DATE AND TIME
04/11/19 11:30am - 04/11/19 1:00pm

I'll be there!
I can't make it
We need mentors who can serve the following students:

  • 9th Grade girl at Sunlake High School
  • 10th Grade girl at River Ridge High School
  • 9th Grade boy at Land O' Lakes High School

We'll be reaching out to a few mentors on our wait list but if you know of any caring people like yourself that would love an opportunity to serve as a mentor, please contact our Mentor Coordinator, Gina Granger, at ggranger@pascoeducationfoundation.org or call (813) 794-2134.
Report Cards were released yesterday, Tuesday, April 2. Be sure to ask your mentee about their grades. If you want a copy of the report card, we can provide you with a digital copy upon request.

Thursday, April 11, at 11:30AM, all mentors are invited to join us for lunch and a Mentor 201 training. RSVP using buttons under the invitation posted above.

There is no school for students and teachers on Friday, April 19. Plan your mentor sessions accordingly if you normally meet on Fridays.
Thanks to all of the mentors of our senior scholars who were able to attend the TSIC Class of 2019 Senior Recognition Banquet last Thursday. Look at this amazing group of scholars! What a fun evening celebrating them, meeting some of their family and hearing about future plans. Thanks for all you have done and continue to do for your senior scholar! If you haven't already done so, don't forget to log last Thursday's banquet as a session with your mentee. It counts! And, remember, although we celebrated last week, they're not done yet and need to continue meeting with you until they graduate.
Mentors, thank you for logging your sessions after each visit so our state reporting is always up-to-date!
Thanks, Mentor , for all you do to steer your mentee on a path to success.
