Teamwork divides the task and multiplies the success.
As an Association, YOUR participation allows us to grow, inspire and support each other.
As a Board, we are comprised of volunteers, all whom have busy lives and careers, but have chosen to give back to the industry and Association that we have earned our living from. Being on the Board is a temporary position, and each year we have people coming on for the first time - as well as leaving the board.
With the nominations process ending soon, we need your participation and support. Consider being on the LAAHU Board. We need your ideas, creativity, opinions, and passion. You'll gain insight and knowledge, friends for life, and have a lot of fun along the way. Please reach out to a Board Member or email info@laahu.org today! Committee Members and CoChairs are always needed.
T
he May Member Meeting is our Annual Election for the Board of Directors, please come and vote to support the Board that works hard to support you.
Carriers, Brokers, Agents, Support Staff, GAs, TPAs and all LAAHU Members - if you haven't been on the board of LAAHU, considering volunteering. It takes many hands and hearts to support our Association and Members - is it Your Turn to Serve?

CAHU PAC Needs You
If you've been under a rock or in a cave, you may not realize that we have two separate PACs that we contribute to, and they are equally important - so please make your contributions. You can do as little as $5 per month - and it truly makes a difference. With our upcoming trip to Sacrament, please be a part of the PAC here in California - so that we can protect our industry, clients, and have a positive impact on legislation. Need more convincing: See Bill Robinson's note below.
California's Priority Bill Report
2019 is moving quickly and we've been working hard on tracking the bills that are of importance to our industry and members. The Priority Report should be read and understood by all of our members and associates in the industry, as the bills impact our clients and our businesses.
With your LAAHU Membership, you're also automatically part of the California Association of Health Underwriters - and the National Association of Health Underwriters! In California, besides our individual Chapters - our State Board works hard to make sure we stay ahead of the activities in Sacramento - and responsive to the needs of our members. In fact, click here to learn a little more about Why and How CAHU is an important part of your Membership.
WHY CAHU?
Our NAHU Convention is a great way to connect with members from throughout the United States - and this year it's held in our State. Join us at the NAHU Convention in San Diego June 29 - July 2, 2019.
Then in August we will be holding our 5
th
Annual Medicare Summit with Ventura, as well as Hosting the Region 8 Leadership Conference in Long Beach at the Queen Mary!
