Leap of Kindness Day 2024

What will you do with the extra day we all get this Leap Year, on Thursday, February 29, 2024?

The Central Maryland Chamber (CMC) is pleased to join and promote Leap of Kindness Day, celebrated every four years on February 29. The idea, invented in 2016 by the Saratoga County Chamber, is to get as many people in our community to use the extra day to do something kind for someone else.

There are many ways to do something kind for someone else this Leap Year like sending a thank you note to your vendors, buy a coffee for a coworker or volunteer at a local nursing home, etc.! A few more ways to participate include:

The CMC's annual Awards Gala is April 15th. The event recognizes the accomplishments of outstanding citizens, educators, businesses, and public safety officials that are the reason our region is such a great place to live and work! A celebration of people who make our region special, this dinner honors educators, public safety officers, and military personnel for their community contributions. We will also celebrate the Chamber’s accomplishments, highlight plans for 2024, introduce new members of our Board of Directors, and proudly showcase our Annual Hall of Fame award winners.

CMC Board of Directors Announces Search

For New President & CEO

Central Maryland Community-

It is with excitement and optimism, that I announce along with the entire Central Maryland Chamber (CMC) board of directors the commencement of our search for a new President & CEO. We are seeking a full-time professional to lead the Chamber in day-to-day operations and set goals for the future of the Central Maryland Chamber.
