A Dollar A Day Impact Report | December 2018

December is a busy and exciting month at A Dollar A Day Foundation! We've got lots of great things to share with you - holiday gift ideas, tips for mental wellness during the holidays, and the announcement of donations to our charter causes in our inaugural year.

When we first started out on this journey, we asked for the support of many to help us make a difference for mental health and addictions care in Canada. We could not be more thankful for the support we have received, and we want to say thank you to every person who believed in our mission.
You, too, can be a part of this movement for improved mental health and addictions care! Please consider becoming a Dollar-A-Dayer - together we can make a difference!

Happy Holidays,
Brendan, Alan & Andrew
The Spirit of Giving: Our collective efforts can make a big impact!

In February of this year, we officially launched A Dollar A Day Foundation. Since that time, we have received tremendous support from people across Canada and beyond. Because of that support, on December 7, 2018, we announced our first donations to our four Charter Causes totaling $60,000!

When we launched the Foundation, we selected 4 charities that we felt were important to support in our inaugural year. We’re pleased to commit $15,000 each to Thrive in St. John’s, NL, the Canadian Mental Health Association’s Living Life to the Full program in Ontario ; The Mental Health Commission of Canada’s HEADSTRONG program in Calgary, AB , and the Salvation Army’s Harbour Light program in Vancouver, BC

Our supporters have shared not only their dollar-a-day contributions, but inspirational stories and words of encouragement. For that, we are truly grateful.

We are motivated to continue our work to make real change happen on the front lines of mental health and addictions care, where it is needed most. We hope you will join us on this important journey towards improved mental health and addictions care in Canada!
