A Visit to Vancouver's Harbour Light

On May 6 th and 7 th , Alan Doyle made a visit to Vancouver, BC, home of the Salvation Army's Vancouver Harbour Light program . He met with the team for a tour of their facility, and had an opportunity to speak with some of the clients who avail of their services.

“The opioid crisis is a growing issue right across this country. The team at Harbour Light in Vancouver are leaders in effective treatment, and have significant frontline experience and knowledge that can be shared with other programs right across the country. The work that the Harbour Light program is doing to support adults moving forward from substance use disorder is extraordinary, and provides hope to so many,” says Alan Doyle.

Thanks to our friends at Rogers Media, Alan also had an opportunity to share our mission and speak about the work of the Foundation and the Harbour Light program with BT Vancouver, 1130 News Radio and Sportsnet 650!
