Would They Know We
Are Christians?
Rev. Candee Martin

The Children's Sunday School gathered money to send to Heifer International as a Christmas project. Heifer International helps families in need by providing them a way to create income and lift themselves out of poverty. The children sent $150.00 which paid for a goat, at $120.00 and a flock of chickens for $20.00.

Rachel Chu is happy to accompany her longtime boyfriend, Nick, to his best friend's wedding in Singapore. She's also surprised to learn that Nick's family is extremely wealthy, and he's considered one of the country's most eligible bachelors. Thrust into the spotlight, Rachel must now contend with jealous socialites, quirky relatives and something far, far worse -- Nick's disapproving mother.

A Night’s Welcome Begins February 16
Our church will once again host the “A Night’s Welcome (ANW)” program February 16 – 23, 2019.  ANW gives us an opportunity to minister to the needs of our homeless brothers and sisters in our community by providing a safe, warm place for them to sleep and two hot meals (breakfast and dinner) daily, and showers.

Volunteers can assist by greeting our guests as they arrive, preparing and serving meals, washing towels / wash cloths, or staying overnight.  Sign-up sheets are located on the wall behind the Sanctuary.  If you have any questions or would like more information, contact Carol Gardner at 838-7452.
