United Methodist Women
Sarah Kilgore completely caught Lynn Chandler by surprise when honoring
her with a Special Mission Recognition pin at a recent UMW meeting. Congratulations, Lynn!!

Also enjoyed was the bell playing of Sine Nomine.
Here they are with relief on their faces; they just finished playing.

COUNTDOWN TO THE BAZAAR
November 23, 2019

Stew Makers Needed
Brunswick stew will be prepared on Nov 20 and 21 . If you are able to help in the kitchen either of these days or on Bazaar day, contact Sylvia Rumsey (951-3858) . If you would like to make a monetary donation to defray the expense of stew ingredients, please give money or checks made out to "FUMC" to Suzann Messick in the office.

Bake Sale Items and Canned Goods Needed
Please consider what you can donate and bring your goodies in a day or two ahead to the kitchen, with a notation, or from 3:00-6:00 p.m., Friday, Nov 22 .  If you are willing to work the tables, please contact Marsha Rew (369-2300).  Thanks for your willingness to help.

Silent Auction could use some "Treasures"
We need items that would be SO appealing to the public that they would want to outbid one another. Novelty ideas, such as festive dinner for six or a baked item each month, could possibly entice folks. Let your imagination be your guide and then call Vennie Lulofs (223-4050) and chat about your idea.

Keep Gathering up your Gently Used Clothing
Melva Fairchild will accept items on Sundays prior to Sunday School in the Happy People's classroom or place bags/boxes of clothing in the room any day until Friday noon, November 22 . Contact Melva (850-4424) with questions.

Candy Cane Lane Bazaar
Saturday, November 23
9:00 a.m. - 2:00 p.m.

Come ready to grab lunch and shop!!
Brunswick Stew and Ham Biscuits to go!

* UMW will not be taking preorders for the Bazaar Brunswick Stew. Because of the popularity of this wonderful stew it is necessary for the UMW to limit the purchase of stew to 4 quarts per family. You must come to the window to purchase the Brunwick Stew or Ham Biscuits. Thank you for your support!!
