It's MAY! April was pretty good, it just went by so quick! You MAY or MAY Not have heard me say every single year just how much I love spring - well I love May just that much more :) It's getting warmer as spring is turning into summer, kids are winding up the school year, graduations are happening all over (Congrats to you all!), and it's my sister and my birth-month :) Just all kinds of change and reasons to be with friends and family and enjoy the outside!
Speaking of birth-month and what-not, we have some pretty important gift giving opportunities coming our way here in May and June don't we. Mother's Day is Sunday, May 8th (don't forget!), Father's Day after that, I'm sure a lot of you have someone you know getting married (I know two newly engaged couples! So exciting!), buying a new house or graduating, then, of course as I mentioned, there is my and my sister's birthdays right before the Memorial Day weekend..... :) Lots to shop for! Thankfully, we have lots of gift ideas to choose from! Here are just a few I can think of off of the top of my head: small kitchen appliances, unique cleaning products, best brands in grills and power tools, planters, seeds and planting accessories, bird supplies, water filtration systems, pool toys, outdoor seating and decorations, storage and organizational items, outdoor lighting, and MORE! All make great gifts and a LOT of them will be on sale in the upcoming month! How convenient!? Throughout April, our 8 Paul's locations accepted Round Up donations at our registers for our own Children's Miracle Network hospital, Phoenix Children's Hospital. Again, you all did not disappoint. YOU all helped us raise a grand total of $11,201.95! Add that 10% Paul's match and we are able to write a big check for $12,322.14! Another absolutely incredible month, thank you to every one of you. Throughout May we will be accepting Round Up donations at our registers for four different veteran's charities. Learn more about them on our website. We're excited to see what we can raise for them this month!
Remember this is all completely voluntary and you are not relegated to just rounding up your purchase. We will happily accept any donation you could give. Thank you so much ❤️

What is Ace Handyman Services? They are a white glove handyman service, focusing on the 'Honey Do' list of projects around your house. They can get jobs booked within a week. Based on the franchise's 20 years of experience they have a good idea of how long these jobs will take. They can give an estimate over the phone and charge time and material once at the job site. Their craftsmen will call the night before the job, send an "on my way" text notification the day of, communicate with you throughout the job and offer a one year warranty on their work. Paul's Ace Hardware mourns the passing of John Patricia, previous owner of Ace Hardware and Nursery in Payson, Arizona, on April 26, 2022. He is preceded in death by his wife Claudette Patricia. John spent years working at Triad (now Epicor) and was inspired by his customers to be part of the Ace team. He and his wife, Claudette, purchased the Ace Hardware and Nursery in Payson and operated the store for over 25 years, and John served as an Ace Board member in the ‘90s. They were loved and respected by their staff and the community of which he was so passionate. They sold the store to the Paul’s Ace Hardware chain in 2017, and he remained a regular visitor to the store until his illness. His favorite charities were Children’s Miracle Network and the Humane Society of Central Arizona. |

Fountain Hills Remodel Done! |
It's been several months and lots of moving things around, but the remodel/expansion of our Fountain Hills location is done! We took on another suite next door which added approximately another 5000 sqft. That is now the home to our "Paint Studio", a whole wing dedicated to everything paint. Moving that gave us more room and the opportunity to expand our outdoor products, so expect to see more grills and outdoor power equipment coming. Additional changes were the beautiful new flooring throughout, moving restrooms and the breakroom which in turn gave our back warehouse a LOT more room. We are just thrilled at all of the changes!
