Well Hi There March! According to Farmer's Almanac, it looks like we are in for some fickle weather rolling in to spring with a tad more precipitation on deck, which is nice :) Aside from the recent wind and freezing cold (to me - I have a very small comfort temp zone), we had a pretty interesting February and I am so looking forward to being outside! I think we truly are lucky... (until summer comes and that's a whole other story!) The First Day of Spring is officially March 20th at 5:24PM EDT. Are you ready? I am - I love spring! I am looking forward to more spring weather, spring training, spring break, spring colors, spring flowers, etc :)
It's also a great time to visit your favorite Paul's Ace Hardware location and get those to-do's to-done! Of course we can always help out with this month's Red Hot Buys. Employee Appreciation Day! |

We totally think this day should be celebrated every day, but this Friday, March 3rd is the official Employee Appreciation Day. We want to be sure to celebrate our incredible employees who we are proud to call Paul's Family. We thank our Red-Vested Heroes for their commitment to their jobs, their customers, their co-workers and the company. Good employees are hard to find, and we are incredibly lucky to have the absolute Best of the Best. Our Family is full of those who inspire us and keep this company moving forward and we thank them. So be sure to give them your thanks this Friday!

We accepted Round-Up Donations at our registers during February to raise money for local neighborhood recues and non-profits in honor of it being National Spay & Neuter month. In some cases they were in our neighborhoods and in other cases they were near and dear to a member of our Paul's Family. In all cases, they are wonderful and generous organizations that seem to have an endless stream of dogs and cats needing their help. Another humble "Thank You" to the best customers on the planet who opened their hearts and wallets and helped us raise a total of $12,333.56 one round up at a time!
March is Disability Awareness month, so we will be focusing on raising money to assist various local organizations who take care of those in need. (We will be continuing to raise money at our Fountain Hills location for FH High School and their Field of Dreams.) We already know we have the best customers and are sure you can help us raise a lot for these charities! We look forward to seeing what you can help us do in March! As always, Paul's matches 10% of the donations. Remember this is all completely voluntary and you are not relegated to just rounding up your purchase. We will happily accept any donation you could give. Thank you so much!

With all of this crazy weather we have had recently, these little guys will start showing up before we know it. You can either start eating weeds in your salad (for reals! I know these last couple of weeks doesn't feel like it AT. ALL. BUT, spring is on the way. So why not do some spring cleaning. It does sound like a great idea, but when you get started it can become a little overwhelming. But it doesn't have to be! If you start with a plan or a checklist of what you want to get done it can help you get and stay on track. Check out this Ace it in Three Cleaning & Organizing video/article to get you started and calm those cleaning nerves :) I'm inspired to get some things done.
If your spring cleaning might also involve more outside work, maybe a side yard that gets used too often for all the wrong reasons, or a garage that needs to be gone through, consider a Bagster and, as they say, "Discover the Joy of Gone." They are available at our Scottsdale & McDowell, Fountain Hills and Via Linda locations OR we will be happy to get them to your favorite Paul's location for you, just ask!

February's Artisan Market was INCREDIBLE! We had several featured local crafters, artisans, vendors, a food cart AND coffee truck! We can't wait for our next event on Saturday, March 25th from 8am-12pm at our Gilbert location. You HAVE to come check it out!
