Paul's Progress - November 2024 | | |
We are now in the Holiday Season and Thanksgiving is quickly approaching! This beautiful weather is certainly something to be thankful for. The leaves don't change color here so much as the license plates (welcome snowbirds!) which tells us that there's really just a few short weeks until Thanksgiving! Kind of unbelievable, but I can't wait. For me, Thanksgiving is all about family and gratitude. This month always reminds me of when I was young and my mom would have us practice gratitude by sharing something we were thankful for every day in the month of November. This is something I've carried into adulthood and hope to pass along to my own family one day!
Speaking of the holidays, it's time to start decorating and we have plenty of great deals in our top sales and specials to help you get started. Ace Hardware's Red Hot Buys are always a great place to check for great deals of the month. So check those out, make your lists, and bring your happy smiles in to see us at your favorite Paul's Ace Hardware neighborhood locations.
As always, we thank you all for your continued business and support. ❤️ We know you have choices for your home improvement needs and we appreciate you choose us again and again. We love to hear from you so always feel free to drop us a phone call, email or get in touch with us on your favorite social platform! OR take our survey by texting HELPFUL to 223439 or go to Talkto.AceHardware.com!
Remember... ACE is the Place!!

Wrapping Up Halloween with Pumpkin Carving! |
Although Halloween has passed, the creative pumpkins that a few of our employees carved remain. This fun contest gave our employees a chance to decorate and carve a pumpkin sold from Paul's to win a prize! We voted for our favorites and decided our top 4, but we also want our awesome customers opinions! Take a minute to look at these pumpkins and vote on your favorite in the poll down below!
We hope you all had an amazing halloween whether it was spent handing out candy, making your house spooky with decor, dressing up like this pirate to the right, or taking a few pieces of candy from your children's trick or treat stash!

Thanking our Veterans is near and dear to our hearts here at Paul's. Paul himself, pictured here, served in WWII. Veterans Day is on November 11th and for us here at Paul's it is a great time for all of us to extend our biggest and warmest "Thank You" to our past and present Military members. We at Paul's would also like to remind our Military customers that Paul's Ace Hardware stores proudly offers a 10% discount* to all active military and military veterans as a small token of our appreciation. See a sales associate at any of our locations for details. We are all indebted to you for your service and sacrifices and cannot thank you enough, that includes our very own associates who have served!

Throughout October, Paul's accepted round up donations at our registers to raise money for multiple charitable organizations. This includes Aspiring Youth Academy, Make A Wish, American Red Cross - Hurricane Relief, and Time Out. Your donations across all of 8 Paul's locations raised a total of $12,789.93! Add in the Paul's 10% match and we were able to donate $14,068.93 to them!
See your favorite Paul's location total and charity here. Yet another incredible month that you should ALL be very proud of. Thank you so much ❤️
We will be accepting Round-Up Donations at our registers for the remainder of the year for our local Children's Miracle Network Hospital, Phoenix Children's Hospital. We are so fortunate to have this top-notch hospital in our backyard providing much needed care for our children.
This is all completely voluntary. All you have to do is click "yes" or "no" on the keypad at the registers when you check out. And if you want to donate more, we can take that too. And remember, Paul's will match 10% of all that is raised. Let's see what we can do together!

With the holidays quickly approaching that also means holiday food! Specifically turkey for Thanksgiving and Christmas. There are so many ways to cook your turkey, maybe you want to change things up this year and try something new! Paul's has everything you need to cook a delicious turkey. A roaster oven is often considered the easy and traditional way! Just plug it in, put your turkey in (breast down is the best way to ensure a moist turkey), add some butter pats under the skin, a little poultry seasoning and you're set! Get on with the rest of your meal preparation, but don't forget to baste every once in a while. If you're family prefers to grill or smoke try using a Traeger. Or... if you decide to deep fry your turkey we have products for that too! Such as turkey fryers and peanut oil that we have at all of our locations. Just make sure you wait to fry until your turkey is fully thawed! Please let us know how they turned out because we would love to hear your recipes, tips, and tricks!! Of course for the rest of your holiday baking and cooking, we can help with that too. Whether you are making pumpkin pie (recipe linked on how to make one with your Traeger - how cool is that!!), candy, cookies, or any other special holiday recipe, we have what you need.
If you have any holiday recipes you'd like to share, I would love to put one in December's newsletter! Send it to me here!

Our very own employee Eve Clark wrote the book "The Grocery Store Myth"
This is what Eve had to say about the backstory of her book as well as what you might learn through reading it:
"My book is about groceries you purchase in a store. I explain about food, and how good, bad or ugly it can be for your health. Your challenge is to find out whether the food and drink you consume are good for your health or not. Then, make the right choices for your health and your family. The time has come for medicine to return back to its roots: food"
Eve's book is now available at all 8 of our Paul's locations! Go today to pick up your own copy and start your journey of food understanding and improved health for your entire family!

Monzer Shakally recently wrote this review on Google for our Scottsdale on McDonald location and gave such great feedback about her experience I just had to share.
"This store is truly how a hardware store should be. Someone greeting you and asking how they can help you the second you walk in. Everyone in the store knows what they’re talking about and can guide you. I haven't noticed prices being more expensive than other places, but even if they are, they have my business. Quality and service beats lowest prices everyday in my book"
Thanks for taking the time Monzer! We're very glad to be in your neighborhood and to have you as a customer of our Paul's Family of Hardware stores!
If you get great service, shout it out on your favorite platform and make sure to mention your favorite Paul's Family Member or Members!
