January 10, 2020 Kelsey T
I was suffering from severe sinus pressure and found the salt room at Balance in Buffalo. I didn’t know what to expect, but I left feeling absolutely amazing! The room is so peaceful and comfortable. I listened to a self meditation on the MP3 player they provided for the session and felt so relaxed I actually went to sleep for a bit. After my session, I felt so light and relaxed. My sinus pressure was decreased and the next morning I felt a huge difference. I can’t wait to go back again, this is a great opportunity to help your overall health and with letting go of stress!

Saturday, September 12th
10am - 4pm
This class will held in Sheboygan, WI
under the direction of Reiki Master, Gina Armstrong

This will be a powerful class as 3 Reiki Masters "in training" will also be attending and lending their wisdom and attunements.
If you have been attuned and certified in Usui Reiki Level I, you are invited to continue the journey onto Level II. The Usui system of Reiki is one of the easiest natural healing systems known today. It is also the most effective way to transfer Universal Life Energy. Having been "attuned" to Reiki (in level I), this course is for those ready to deepen their healing abilities -- for the self and others.
In this course, you will receive three healing symbols that will help you take your Reiki practice to a higher level. These symbols will (respectively): strengthen the effects of Reiki for you and bring protection to others; bring mental and emotional healing to a deeper level; allow Reiki to travel over time and space so you can send Reiki to people, places and situations from a distance.
The power and effectiveness of the Reiki symbols comes from the Level II attunement, which activates the symbols in your mind and hands

Let's Get Moving!
with Joan Hanna
A 6 week series class
March 19, 26, April 2, 9, 16, 23
10:00 am - 11:15 am

Have you ever said to yourself ? "I need to do something so that I am not so stiff and achy". Are you having a hard time doing things that used to be easy?
  • putting on your socks and shoes
  • getting up from sitting
  • reaching over head
  •  twisting to look behind you (do you drive a car?)
If you said yes to any of these it is time to get moving! If we continue to be sedentary, as we age the stiffness, inflexibility and aches will only get worse. Moving our joints and stretching and strengthening our muscles NOW is the key.
Did you know that the #1 source of injury in seniors is from falls? Many health issues can lead to falls, some of which are part of the normal aging process, like vision problems and osteoarthritis (which affects your joints and bones and decreases mobility).
Preventing falls is the goal. One way to do this is through regular exercise that builds strength, improves flexibility and improves balance.
This class is designed to help you to get moving safely, to motivate you to commit to some type of regular exercise and to help you to feel better overall.
What the class entails:
  • Focus on moving safely
  • Exploration of our joints and how they are made to move
  • Discussion of range-of-movement of the joints and learning your limits
  • Simple movement of the joints to lubricate them
  • Easy stretching of the muscles for flexibility
  • Strength building through repetition
  • Work on improving balance
  • We will start slow and gradually step up
  • We use props as needed for easy accessibility of the movements
  • Class will always end with an exercise in stillness
It doesn't matter how old you are or how long it has been since you last did any physical activity. I will show you how movement can be done safely and we will have fun doing it.
The body takes 6-8 weeks to get used to an activity, the length of time it takes to form a new habit. Take this opportunity to start a lifetime commitment to moving safely through life. Regular activity is not only good for the body but the mind as well.
As always, please consult your physician before starting any new activity.
