~Mid-Week Love from Shadow Rock~
Celebrating Some Big Facilities Workday Energy

This past Saturday was our summer Facilities Workday. Here are our intrepid facilities volunteers, working hard... or hardly working?

We're just kidding of course. We share this picture with gratitude, celebrating the care given by these volunteers that makes our campus beautiful, welcoming, and safe.
Celebrating a Win for Javier

Javier is an immigrant neighbor. Shadow Rock has been helping provide care and support to him following an injury earlier this year. Compassion and giving allowed Javier to recover from his injury; a donated bicycle made it possible for him to return to work. Your consistency of giving, praying, and loving makes good things happen!
We are grateful for our Shadow Rock spiritual family and the work we take on to help make life good for neighbors.

Learn and Explore
We will be gathering for a congregational meeting on Sunday morning, June 20 at 10:00 am in the Sanctuary.

Congregational governance and autonomy (balanced with covenant) are an important tradition in the United Church of Christ. Please review the agenda for the congregational meeting and make plans to participate in our shared life together.

~Happening Now~

Through the summer, Ktizo UCC, a sibling congregation in the Southwest Conference, is opening their church home for people seeking water and safety from the extreme heat. They have done this for several years and are inviting us to participate in this life saving ministry.
