NeuraSpeech

NeuraSpeech is a Brampton-based healthcare tech startup focused on supporting speech-language pathologists and audiologists through an all-in-one clinical platform. It streamlines everyday workflows by recording patient sessions, automatically generating structured SOAP notes in minutes, flagging high-risk cases, and managing scheduling and patient records—all in one place.

Rooted in Brampton’s diverse and high-demand healthcare environment, the platform reflects real clinical needs—helping local practitioners handle complex caseloads more efficiently. In simple terms, NeuraSpeech reduces administrative burden so clinicians can spend less time on paperwork and more time delivering patient care.

District Wins

Frank Baylis Spotlights Brampton’s Growing Startup Ecosystem

Brampton’s Innovation District continues to gain momentum, recently hosting entrepreneur and former MP Frank Baylis to spotlight the city’s growing role in Canada’s tech ecosystem. Baylis joined staff on a walking tour visiting the partners who make-up the Brampton Innovation District: Brampton Entrepreneur Centre, Brampton Venture Zone, Altitude Accelerator, Algoma NCoE Immersive Technology, Rogers Cybersecure Catalyst, and BHive.

The tour included a local startup showcase at BHive featuring Brampton-based CardioSentia, ConsidraCare, Training Ground AI, Scooty, Cotriply, Flip & Floss and many more who are building practical, impact-driven solutions.

Baylis's visit highlighted the city’s growing alignment with national conversations around scaling Canadian tech, particularly in health and MedTech. As investment, talent, and infrastructure converge, Brampton is steadily carving out its place as a rising hub in Canada’s startup landscape.

Thank you to The Founders Press who covered the showcase!

Momentum Builds for Brampton’s Health Innovation Ecosystem

The completion of Brampton’s MedTech Task Force—led by Deputy Mayor, Harkirat Singh and Mohamed Lachemi, TMU President & Vice Chancellor — marks a major step forward for healthcare innovation in Brampton.

At Brampton Venture Zone, new 2026 cohort startups like Aevist, LBx Bio, and Oakwood Biology are driving this momentum—alongside alumni including Maman Biomedical, Waive, and Vessl Prosthetics.

With breakthroughs like Latchmi Raghunanan of Maman Biomedical micro-needle fertility tech, and future plans tied to Toronto Metropolitan University’s School of Medicine, Brampton’s health innovation ecosystem continues to grow.

Brampton is where collaboration turns into real impact—and where the future of healthcare is being built.
