Happy St. Patrick's Day Bobcats! Just five days left until Spring break. With that being said, remember to focus on your classes and finish strong. Don't forget to have some fun with your friends at some of these awesome events before you take off for that well deserved break.

3/11 United Through Christ Bible Fellowship Meeting
Join United Campus Ministry for their United Through Christ Bible Fellowship on Monday, March 11, form 7:45 p.m. to 9 p.m. in the Lewis J. Ort Library 237. United Through Christ Bible Fellowship meets weekly to support and discuss biblical teachings. Each meeting is student led, where questions are submitted for exploration and discussion. A new question is chosen as the topic each week.
3/13 Hidden in Plain Sight
United Campus Ministry , The Philosophy Department , and Women's Studies will be sponsoring an awareness campaign on human trafficking in the United States . Human trafficking is the modern form of slavery, with illegal smuggling and trading of people, for forced labor or sexual exploitation.  Penny Hoeflinger, author, activist, and survivor of human trafficking from childhood will be speaking on campus on Wednesday, March 13 in Lane University Center 109 at 7 p.m.    

Lunch -- we will be hosting a brown bag lunch – Conversation and Q&A with Penny  – this is especially for community leaders and faculty, but open to all. -- Wednesday, March 13 from 12 p.m. to 1:15 p.m. in Lane University Center 110. Dessert and Beverage service provided
3/13 UPC Presents Aquaman
UPCinema's presents Warner Bros. Pictures  Aquaman,  a superhero film based on DC Comics character on Wednesday, March 13 at 7 p.m. in the Atkinson room. Once home to the most advanced civilization on Earth, the city of Atlantis is now an underwater kingdom ruled by the power-hungry King Orm. Watch as Aquaman embraces his destiny as protector of the deep. Read the New York Times review here
3/14 Student Government Association Meeting
The  Student Government Association invites all students to their meeting on Thursday, March 14  at 7:30 p.m. in the Atkinson Room.
3/26 Thinking about studying abroad?
Do you want to travel the world? Plan to attend the  Center for In ternation al Education's  Study Abroad and International Fair on  Tuesday, March 26 from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. in the  Manicur Assembly Hall. Representatives from various study abroad programs, former study abroad students, and inte rnational students will be available to answer questions.  Opportunities for both students and faculty members are available. There will also be drawings for  free prizes. For more information contact  Kara Hotchkiss or call  301-687-4747.
Visit Frostburg with The Loop
SGA's Saferide is sponsoring free rides around Frostburg every Saturday 2 -7 p.m. The Loop takes 20 minutes from start to finish. No need to call Saferide just find which stop is closest to you and wait for a van. A van should appear every 20 minutes or less! The goal of this program is to provide students more access to the surrounding areas. We hope you can explore Frostburg's Main Street businesses! Happy traveling!

Frostburg Dining  would greatly appreciate your participation in one of our upcoming focus group sessions , so that we may hear your candid feedback regarding your dining experiences . Your feedback is extremely important to us and will be used to help us reinvent your dining experience here on campus.

Important notes: It’s confidential.  We do not release individual data to anyone; your answers are entirely anonymous. It’s a one-hour session.  We promise that the session will end within the hour. Sessions are based on your demographic.   On campus students, off campus students/Edgewood Commons students, and faculty/staff are all eligible to participate. You will be grouped based on this information. Sessions will be held March 26th-28th. There will be a f ree meal. There are only 15 spaces per focus group session. You will receive a coupon for free Starbucks and Subway.
