This workshop is about working together as Women... learning the artful practice of transforming deerskin into buckskin...a process practiced by cultures around the globe.

Think "sewing circle" just with skinning knives instead of knitting needles! 

This unique 3-day workshop is led by Talcon Quinn, a nationally recognized Appalachian Folk Artist. Traveling from Ohio (just for us!) she brings with her the skills and essence of Appalachian heritage crafts. (Click here for more info about Talcon)

Events begin Saturday at 9am and close Monday around 4:00PM.

$450 per person.

Where: Chester, VA (25 miles south of Richmond, VA)

All art supplies, tanning supplies, tools and personal instruction included. 

Registration deadline January 31. 

On site camping available for $35 per person per night. 

Ask about nearby hotels upon registration. (Hyatt less than 2 miles away)

Financial assistance and/or payment plan available upon request.
