As we’ve received a number of questions regarding our previous COVID communications, we want to try to clarify our policy for the High Holy Days:
All attendees who are eligible to be vaccinated (i.e. anyone age 12+ years) MUST be vaccinated to attend High Holy Day services in person, whether indoors or outdoors. Because the service is longer, and attendance is usually higher, proof of vaccination is required only for those 12+ who wish to enter the building for any reason on Rosh HaShanah (9/7 & 9/6) and Yom Kippur (9/15 & 9/16). Those who ARE vaccinated, but have NOT either:
- Submitted their proof of vaccination in advance, OR
- Brought it with them to services
can attend outdoors and use the OUTDOOR restrooms, but may NOT enter the building. Children who are under the age of 12 may attend with their parents and are allowed to enter the building. Children who attend services are to be seated in the socially-distanced sections.
While we’ve been fortunate that the past 24 hours have been dry, we recommend when choosing your footwear that you take into account the possibility the grass may be a bit slippery.
