Dear Friends,

In the 21st century, industry standards include posting YouTubes of rabbis' talks on Shabbat and holidays. I don't feel comfortable with that for Halakhic and social reasons. And I typically speak from notes, even on the High Holidays, not fixed texts. So at Ansche Chesed, the vibe has been ... you kinda had to be there.

This year, a number of people were very kind about my remarks on the holidays and asked me to post the texts. So I have done what I usually do not, and firmed up the notes into actual texts. The versions linked below are very slightly expanded and developed beyond what I said verbally in the Sanctuary and Minyan M'at on Rosh HaShanah Days 1 and 2, respectively, and in the Sanctuary on Kol Nidre and Yom Kippur Day. But they basically cover the same ground.
