Communal Break the Fast Dinner at 7:30 pm

This year’s Break the Fast will be held outside under a tent on the East Side of Beth Jacob. Meal is FREE OF CHARGE. Break the Fast is provided by an endowment established by the Bernick family in memory of Bernice & Milton Bernick (z”l)

High Holy Day Children’s Programming

On the High Holy Days, Beth Jacob offers engaging, fun-filled learning and prayer experiences for children of all ages, including:


Rosh Hashanah & Yom Kippur Family Service (Grade Pk-6) 

10-10:45 am in the chapel


Children and their grown-ups join together for a song-filled, interactive service, exploring themes presented in the mahzor (the High Holy Day prayerbook) to make 5783 a sweet new year!

Rosh Hashanah (Both days)

10 am: Family services in chapel

10-11 am: Teen sichot 

(discussions) in Youth Lounge

10:45-11 am: Kid’s Kiddush 

11 am-12 pm: Games, stories & music at city hall

Yom Kippur

10 am: Family services in chapel

10-11 am: Teen sichot

11 am-1 pm: Games, stories and music at city hall

FOR FAMILIES WITH CHILDREN 0-5

9:30 am -1 pm: Childcare (with ample snacks) is available in the nursery on both days of Rosh HaShanah & Yom Kippur morning services.  Use the link below to let us know if you child is joining us for the High Holidays.


Minyan Katan (tot services for ages 0-5)

11:30 am - 12pm in Room 7/8

Our littlest ones and their grown-ups embody the sweetness of the season with song-filled prayers, movement, and meaningful stories.

For those joining our livestream service, Mahzorim (High Holiday prayer books) can be checked out from Beth Jacob.  We ask that they be returned at the end of High Holidays. Complete this form to reserve your book.
