Nametags
It has become our tradition to use nametags for "tickets". They help create a more connected community during the holy days. Nametags will be required for entrance to all services. They will be mailed on August 27. When you attend your first service you will be given a plastic holder for the nametag at the Summit Avenue entrance. Please return this holder after the last service you attend. We request that everyone, 7 years and older, keep the nametag on while in the building. Please remember to bring the nametag(s) with you for every service during the High Holy Days.

Additional Nametags
If you need additional nametags for guests or dependents over age 26, there is a suggested donation of $54 per person, but any amount is welcome. Additional name tags will be mailed out after August 27.

Order your Prayer Book
A few years ago, Mount Zion moved to a new prayer book, Mishkan HaNefesh, which is used for every service. Still need one? Prayer books should be picked up before the High Holy Days.

Calling all children!
Remembering Loved Ones
For our Yizkor service, we publish a Memorial Book with prayers that can be used throughout the year for yahrzeits and cemetery visits. You may include your loved ones' names in the Memorial Book.

Ushers Needed
It is a great mitzvah to usher at High Holy Day Services. The usher's role is crucial to creating a warm, welcoming and dignified spirit during the Days of Awe. We hope you will consider volunteering!

Yom Kippur Fast Appeal
The more tzedakah, the more peace.
- Pirke Avot

Our custom at Mount Zion is to encourage tzedakah for needs outside our walls instead of a traditional Yom Kippur appeal for the congregation.
