We are excited to have Michael & Vanessa Mistretta as our guest speakers on Erev Rosh HaShanah!  Michael is CEO and Vanessa is Executive Director of Relationships for the Fellowship of Israel-Related Ministries (FIRM).  Together they lead FIRM, based in Jerusalem, an exciting ministry purposed to unify ministries in The Land and connect them with churches across the globe.

ROSH HASHANAH SERVICES

The first of the High Holy Days is Rosh HaShanah (Feast of Trumpets). Open to all, our seating this year for the "Appointed Times" of the Lord will be limited to first come / first served to maintain social distancing.  Childcare will be available.

Immediately following Saturday Service we will meet on Bayshore Blvd and Bay to Bay Blvd for a short Tashlich ceremony. All are welcomed to bring bread and "cast their sins into the water".

"The Return" is a day set apart for the return to God by coming before His presence in humility, in sincerity in prayer, and repentance.  Events will be held in Washington D.C. with over 50 GUEST SPEAKERS including Rabbi Jonathan Cahn, Dr. James Dobson, Pat Robertson, Tony Perkins, Pat Boone, Kevin Sorbo, and Jimmy Evans!

All Shoresh David congregations are invited and encouraged to join us at our Mikvah Service.  Come to dedicate/rededicate yourself to the Lord, or just come and encourage those who are being immersed.  Please call the office at 813-831-5673 if you plan to be immersed, or will just be attending. Please wear modest bathing attire. Public restroom are available for changing.

Note: Daily parking rate at Beach Parking Pay Station is $5 to $6. Restrooms and beach showers available.

My beloved brethren of Shoresh David,

 Not long ago I was in prayer and asked our Lord the following: "Lord, now that I have health issues and other challenges, what can I do to bring glory to your Name?"

In my spirit I heard the words, "write a book about your life."  Other friends and my youngest brother have been telling me to do this for years, but now is the only time I have felt right to move forward and write the book.  Salem Communications’ Xulon Press has been very gracious to me, and offered to help publish the book - but now I need your help! I am on a fixed income and need to raise $3,000 to move forward, so I am asking you to please pray about it, and ask the Lord if you are to help raise the money to publish this book? Any amount the Lord places on your heart will help and be a blessing!

Shoresh David has been a big part of my life for the past 14 years, and many of you are part of my story and testimony!  Please join with me in prayer that this book will glorify our Lord God, and demonstrate to those that need to know that "He is the same yesterday, today, and forever!!!"
