How beautiful on the mountains are the feet of those who bring good news, who proclaim peace, who bring good tidings, who proclaim salvation, who say to Zion, "Your God reigns!"
(Isaiah 52:7)
Creator God, Your beauty is unparalleled. We are surrounded by the splendor of Your creation everywhere we look. The snow- capped mountains, beautiful blue skies and verdant meadows that encompass Nepal all point to the existence of a loving Creator. We ask for Your blessing to be released upon the seeds of the Gospel that have been planted there. May every person see those who bring Your good news as beautiful and welcome Your salvation with an open heart.
We also pray for the Bride of Christ there and we ask that all ministry efforts will grow and multiply in every village and in remote mountain places. We ask that every man, woman and child will have an opportunity to hear the Gospel of peace. Lord, You are the only One who makes the seeds grow. Release life, conviction, revelation and angels to tend the seeds that have been sown among the peoples of the mighty Himalayas.
As they receive the Spirit of Jesus into their hearts, we ask that You would, "Put a new song in their mouth, a hymn of praise to our God. So that many will see and fear the Lord and put their trust in him." (Psalm 40:3) Move, Holy Spirit - water and breathe life into these seeds. We bind the birds of the air and the trampling of the seeds in Jesus' name, we resist everything that resists the springing up of Your Kingdom. Thank You, that even the mountains will sing in the light of Your liberating power.
Lord God, we thank You for creating Nepal in all its beauty, and for its people, who are made in Your image. We stand in agreement for Your purposes to be accomplished in this land. In the name of Jesus we pray, amen.
