"Find Your Voice"
September 9, 2018
Welcome back to High School Highlights; a weekly wrap-up of events, designed especially for high school parents and students at Summit Academy, to help keep you in the know. It's been a great week in the high school and there are several important events to get on your calendar. So grab your planner, get comfortable, and enjoy!
On next week's calendar:
  • Monday: Information coming home about Picture Day and High School ID's
  • Thursday : Picture Day - this will include ALL High School Students (formal Senior pictures are scheduled for 11/8), Back to School Night - 7:00 p.m.
  • Friday : Sr. Internships

Freshmen Spotlight
The Freshmen enjoyed several days at Camp Nuhop learning about working together and inner strength. They participated in team building activities, as well as hiked, canoed, swam and learned survival skills. They had the opportunity to face their fears on the giant swing and the high ropes course and finish it off by flying through the sky on the zip line. Way to soar, Freshmen!
Caring Thoughts

Best wishes to Senior, Dianne, on a full recovery from her second surgery! Hang in there and know that your teachers and classmates are here for you!
