Good afternoon High School families,
Attention Junior parents: Are you starting to think about your child’s college journey? If so, you are not alone! The CFHS Counseling Department is here to help. Join us for an in-person college planning meeting on Wednesday, November 20, at 6:30pm. in the High School Library. We will discuss finding the right college, the application process, what colleges are looking for in applicants, financial aid and scholarships, timeline - what to do and when, standardized testing information, and more!
Semester Exams are scheduled for December 17th-19th. A permission form for early dismissal or late arrival will be shared with families and students prior to Thanksgiving. All students in 9th-12th grade are subject to exams. The schedule is as follows:
- Tuesday December 17th Exams for periods 1, 4 & 7
- Wednesday December 18th Exams for periods 2, 5 & 8
- Thursday December 19th Exams for periods 3 & 6
Over the last few weeks, we have observed multiple drivers deviating from the arrival/dismissal procedures. To reiterate, families must drop off and pick up their child at the designated drop-off location at the back of the campus and are not permitted to drop off/pick up their child at the front of the campus. Please pull as forward as possible in the drop off lane, past the crosswalk, to assist with traffic flow and avoid accidents. Additionally, drivers must go around the circle at the end of the drive in order to turn around. Drivers are prohibited from turning around on the hill, by the dumpsters or at any other point along the drive. Please see the linked traffic map for further information.
