Peace Youth Ministry - January 2019 Newsletter
Youth-Worship Sunday, February 3rd

Last year, our Youth Sunday with Youth-led worship was so well received, we want to continue to offer it each year.  We are scheduled to lead worship on Sunday, February 3rd at both services.  There are lots of ways youth can sign up to help from singing on the Praise team to ushering to reading the Gospel lesson to to skit to helping with communion - there are many more choices.  There is a sign up in the Youth Room, so please have your youth check it out.  

Please talk with your High School youth and encourage them to participate.  There is something for everyone to help out.  If you are a parent that would like to participate, we would appreciate your help, too.  Please contact me for more information.  
 


Timber-lee High School Retreat
February 15-17, 2019
Registration starts now!
Mark your calendars!  We have the dates set for our  annual High School Retreat to Camp Timberlee.   Camp Timberlee is a Christian camp located  in West Troy, WI not far from Lake Geneva area.  The staff there host several retreats in the winter for Youth Groups.  Feel free to check them out at their website (www.timber-lee.com).

Cost is $110.  Forms will be available now at this link.  For information on what to bring, please check this link. Please put all forms and payment in Andrew's box in the library by Feb. 6th.  Space is limited - so don't wait to sign up!



Mark your calendars!  Every 2nd and 4th Sunday night of the month, we've got something planned for High School Youth at Peace.  Start time may be subject to change depending if we are going on an outing or not.  Feel free to reach out and invite friends!!!

March 10 - 6-8 pm - Rock Climbing at Vertical Endeavors -
 Glendale Heights

March 30 - 6-8 pm - Wii-Game Fest 

April 14 - Laser Tag @ Laser Quest

April 22 - 6-8 pm - Game Night

May 5 - 6 - 8 pm - Campfire Shenanigans
one week earlier because of Mother's Day the following Sunday

May 26 - No Youth Nite - Memorial Day Weekend

June 9 - 6- 8 pm - Cook-out/Outdoor games
