HIGHLAND AVENUE SEWER UPGRADE PROJECT BEGINS 9/25/17
Greetings San Martin Neighbors!

We wanted to make you aware that the Highland Avenue Sewer Upgrade Project will begin on Monday, September 25th.  During the project construction, Highland Avenue will be temporarily closed between Harding Avenue and approximately 500 feet west of the Harding Avenue intersection. Detour signage and devices will be in place to safely reroute traffic around the closure.  Please adhere to the directions provided through the signage and devices to ensure everyone's safety. View construction notice and map.

The Highland Avenue Sewer Upgrade project will provide additional trunk capacity near the intersection of Harding and Highland Avenues .   The scope of the project involves the replacement of 460 linear feet of existing 21-inch diameter sewer pipe in Highland Avenue with new  30-inch diameter pipe and the construction of three new manholes .

Residents in the project area are being notified directly with a printed notice and will be provided updates by the contractor, Monterey Peninsula Engineering, and by the City of Morgan Hill.  Questions and concerns about the project can be referred to:

Jorge Avila, M.P.E., Foreman, 831.277.6128
  -or-
Lynette Kong, Consultant Engineer, 650.333.0827

We would like to assure you in advance that we are committed to minimizing any project related impacts.

Sincerely,
